Application of defoamer in different sewage wastewater treatment
01. Current treatment options for paper wastewater
Paper water treatment defoamer is mainly used in the pulp and paper production process from the paper industry production. The main components of this process are lignin, cellulose, volatile organic acids, etc., with a high concentration of pollutants, emissions, difficult to degrade, poor biochemistry, etc., is one of the more difficult to deal with industrial wastewater.
Paper wastewater treatment method commonly used is coagulation. The method is adaptable, simple equipment, easy to operate, but there are high cost, sludge production and other shortcomings; another method is biological method, it has no secondary pollution, low treatment costs and other characteristics, but can not completely reduce the content of organic pollutants.
02. Treatment of oily wastewater
Oily wastewater treatment defoamer is mainly used in the cooling lubricant from the petroleum industry, iron and steel, gas workstations, machinery industry, etc. The coverage of oil in the wastewater makes the water body lose its self-purifying ability and destroys the ecological balance in the water, which not only jeopardizes human health but also affects the production of agricultural crops.
At present, air flotation is the main method for treating oily wastewater, but the method has high energy consumption, large amount of flocculant and large floor space, and other methods such as electrochemical method and adsorption method also have shortcomings such as high operation cost and small scope of application.
03. Treatment of aromatic organic wastewater
With the development of petrochemical and plastics industries, more and more wastewater containing aromatic compounds is discharged from factories. This kind of wastewater pollutants are stable in structure and difficult to degrade. At present, the main methods for treating aromatic organic wastewater are reagent oxidation and separation by liquid membrane technology.
