This study focuses on the application of polyether defoamers in the process of amino acid fermentation. The parameters of fermentation process, including fermentation temperature, fermentation duration, and the production and change of foam, were described in detail. The preparation and addition methods of polyether defoamers were introduced, and the substrate composition and bacterial strain were analyzed. By comparing the application of two types of polyether defoamers in lysine production, the influence of their dosage differences on the fermentation process was explored, aiming to provide theoretical basis and practical reference for the rational selection of defoamers in the amino acid fermentation industry.
