Causes of foaming of concrete admixtures

According to the principle of aggregate grading and compaction, in the construction process, if the grading of the material itself is unreasonable, there are too many coarse aggregates, less fine aggregates, too many needle and flake particles in the gravel material, and the actual sand rate in the production process is smaller than that provided by the laboratory, at this time, the fine aggregate is not enough to fill the gap between the coarse aggregates, resulting in the non compaction of the aggregate and the formation of free voids producing bubbles. In addition, the amount of cement and the water cement ratio are also important reasons for the generation of bubbles.

Concrete admixture antifoam is widely used in defoaming of cement mortar, water reducing agent, concrete, asbestos tile, calcium silicate board, putty powder, mineral slurry, gypsum, cement and other production processes.

Product introduction

Concrete admixture antifoam is applicable to the condition of strong alkali. In the defoaming system with high pH value, it can maintain a good physical state without demulsification. On the contrary, the defoaming and foam inhibition effect is stronger than that at room temperature. It has the advantages of rapid defoaming and long-lasting foam inhibition. When using this product for defoaming, the dosage is less and the use cost is low. It is suitable for defoaming ordinary portland cement, special cement and other concrete.

1.Addition: According to different use systems, the addition amount of defoamer can be 0.05%-0.3%, and the addition amount is determined according to specific conditions; 

2.Packing: This product is packed in 25/200/1000KG plastic drums;

3.Storage: Sealed and stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place indoors. Before use, the container should be strictly sealed after use. About 25℃, the shelf life is 12 months

4.Transportation: This product should be sealed well during transportation to prevent the ingress of impurities such as moisture, strong alkali, strong acid, rainwater, etc.
