Causes of latex foaming

When latex is stirred, topped, flowing and filtered, a lot of bubbles are often mixed with air. Because of the need of raw technology, the diluent used in latex paint is water. In emulsion polymerization, a certain amount of emulsifier must be used to achieve stable water dispersions. Because of the use of emulsifiers, the surface tension of emulsion system is greatly reduced, which is the main reason for foaming.

Application of latex antifoam

Latex defoamer is suitable for defoaming white latex; Defoaming in textile printing and dyeing process and foam suppression in textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries; It is used to eliminate harmful foam in water treatment, pesticide, industrial circulating water, paper washing, chemical cleaning, chemical fertilizer anti caking agent and petrochemical industry. It is used for oil production to eliminate harmful foam in drilling mud and cementing cement.

Usage and Precautions

1.Addition: According to different use systems, the addition amount of defoamer can be 0.05%-0.3%, and the addition amount is determined according to specific conditions; 

2.Packing: This product is packed in 25/200/1000KG plastic drums;

3.Storage: Sealed and stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place indoors. Before use, the container should be strictly sealed after use. About 25℃, the shelf life is 12 months

4.Transportation: This product should be sealed well during transportation to prevent the ingress of impurities such as moisture, strong alkali, strong acid, rainwater, etc.
