Causes of foaming of pressure sensitive adhesives

1. During the stirring process, due to the high viscosity of the glue or the wrong stirring method, it is easy to bring air into the glue liquid, resulting in foaming.

2. The curing speed is too fast, the exothermic temperature is high, the curing shrinkage rate of the glue is large, and the amount of solvent and plasticizer in the glue is too much, all of which are easy to generate bubbles during the curing process.

The pressure sensitive adhesive defoamer is a Compound defoamer refined by a special process. The adhesive product defoamer is easy to disperse in water-based systems, has strong self-emulsification, good defoaming and long-lasting foam suppression, especially for water-soluble polymers and medium, low and high viscosity systems. No fisheye and pinhole phenomenon. The glue  defoamer is particularly effective in eliminating large and fine foam in emulsions, with long-lasting foam suppression, good compatibility and dispersibility, and environmentally friendly products.

Usage and Precautions

1.Addition: According to different use systems, the addition amount of defoamer can be 0.05%-0.3%, and the addition amount is determined according to specific conditions; 

2.Packing: This product is packed in 25/200/1000KG plastic drums;

3.Storage: Sealed and stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place indoors. Before use, the container should be strictly sealed after use. About 25℃, the shelf life is 12 months

4.Transportation: This product should be sealed well during transportation to prevent the ingress of impurities such as moisture, strong alkali, strong acid, rainwater, etc.
