Causes of foaming of hot melt adhesives

1. During the production and use of hot melt adhesives, there will be a certain proportion of chemical additives, which are surfactants and have foaming properties.

2. During the process of stirring, pouring, flowing and filtering the hot melt adhesive, a large amount of air will be involved, resulting in foam.

3. Affected by external environmental factors, the molecular structures in the glue react in a humid and high temperature environment to release heat, thereby generating foam.

4. When using hot melt adhesive, because the substrate is not flat, air will be trapped between the substrate and the white glue, which is difficult to escape, resulting in foam.

Application of Hot melt adhesive defoamer

RISE hot melt adhesive defoamer is widely used in: hot melt adhesive,white latex,PVA glue, adhesive, water-based adhesive, gel and glue, glue, EVA emulsion, latex, emulsion polymerization, adhesive,  starch glue and other defoaming.

The Water-based adhesive defoamer is also suitable for all kinds of emulsions: acrylic resin, adhesive, white latex, polymer glue, water-based color paste, emulsion polymerization, waterproof coating, printing, synthetic emulsion and other water-based systems and oil-based defoaming.

Product introduction

RISE hot melt adhesive defoamer is made of ether, aliphatic alcohol and various active additives through a special process. The antifoam is easy to disperse in water-based systems, has strong self-emulsification, good defoaming, and long foam suppression time, especially for water -soluble polymers and medium, low and high viscosity systems.

The adhesive defoamer has the advantages of good defoaming, good foam suppression, good leveling, less dosage, no floating oil, no fish eye holes, etc.And does not affect the appearance of the product and the properties of the coating.

Usage and Precautions

1.Addition: According to different use systems, the addition amount of defoamer can be 0.05%-0.3%, and the addition amount is determined according to specific conditions; 

2.Packing: This product is packed in 25/200/1000KG plastic drums;

3.Storage: Sealed and stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place indoors. Before use, the container should be strictly sealed after use. About 25℃, the shelf life is 12 months

4.Transportation: This product should be sealed well during transportation to prevent the ingress of impurities such as moisture, strong alkali, strong acid, rainwater, etc.
