Causes of foaming of potting glue

The foaming of the encapsulant is mainly due to the fact that it is cured by a polymerization reaction during the production of the encapsulant. This reaction is an exothermic reaction, so in the curing reaction, as the reaction progresses, the temperature rises to make the encapsulant. When the fine bubbles in the instrument are heated and expanded, the gas and the encapsulant are no longer compatible, and migrate, and aggregate together to form larger bubbles.

Potting glue defoamer is widely used in: leather coating/leather edge oil and water-based polymer glue, high-build acrylic emulsion with acrylic acid emulsion, silicone acrylic emulsion, styrene acrylic emulsion or mixture of acrylic acid emulsion and polyurethane emulsion Dilute acid emulsion , resin production and degassing and defoaming of polymer systems.

1.Addition: According to different use systems, the addition amount of defoamer can be 0.05%-0.3%, and the addition amount is determined according to specific conditions; 

2.Packing: This product is packed in 25/200/1000KG plastic drums;

3.Storage: Sealed and stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place indoors. Before use, the container should be strictly sealed after use. About 25℃, the shelf life is 12 months

4.Transportation: This product should be sealed well during transportation to prevent the ingress of impurities such as moisture, strong alkali, strong acid, rainwater, etc.
